Ekonomska škola Mije Mirkovića Rijeka

From 6^th to 9^th May 2011 our school was the host of the third international project meeting. There were teachers and students from our partner schools from six European countries: Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Romania and Spain. 

The topic of this project meeting was presentation of fictive business firms and companies related to media, tourism and transportation.

The teachers and students from our partner schools had the chance to learn more about our educational programmes, and see the school building and classrooms. We the County and the City representatives, and spent a pleasant afternoon sightseeing our town. In the following days we also visited Opatija and the island of Krk.

The period from 6th to 9th May was filled with many different activities (a tour of Rijeka, a short lesson of Croatian, travel tour to Opatija and the island of Krk...) during which both teachers and students had the chance to exchange their experience with their colleagues, as well as learn more about the Croatian culture and history.

The meeting was very successful. The students performed their task very well, presenting many interesting business ideas, and the teachers were satisfied with the experience gained in this project.
